Design Review at Norwich City Council
What we did
Norwich City Council has a number of large, strategic sites which it intends to partner on for new homes and other mixed uses. The council was concerned to achieve the best possible quality schemes on two particular sites, and to ensure that its internal processes enabled it to achieve quality alongside third parties. On two separate sites, we undertook the following work:
Reviewing all current drawings of scheme
Visiting site and other sites undertaken locally by the same developer
Providing detailed commentary on scheme design
Providing clear next steps on both design and the council’s processes for securing quality into the future
