Nationwide Building Society is working within its local community in Swindon to create a new place with intergenerational living at its heart, including 240 new homes, community facilities and a park. Claire from Municipal worked as Project Director, in collaboration with igloo. The council is also a crucial partner, putting in the land and the pioneering spirit needed to make the project happen. A Community Organising approach was taken to local listening from the start, spearheaded by Organiser Keith Brown. The scheme has been submitted for planning in January 2019.
